Project description
This is one of my newest passion projects. I got to create a new website for the St. Marys Community Players, a theatre group with dedicated volunteers producing quality productions to entertain and enlighten the community. The new SMCP website among other things, highlights current, upcoming and past plays and also displays actor and crew profiles for some of the members that are involved with the specific plays.
After launching the website in the beginning of 2019 I got to stay on as a webmaster taking care of the website and the content under it. I also give a bit of support to Maggie Whitcroft, who promotes the plays though social media and different channels. I have been making some video interviews with cast and crew, that I have edited together for promotional purposes as well as to document and give a look back at past plays.
I feel it of paramount importance to capture some of the creativity and talent that goes into making these amazing productions. I am always blown away by the level and quality, the production values and how professional everything is even though it is made by a group of volunteers.
