Project description
After several years in the making the new Friman Tours website www.frimantravel.fi launched in the summer of 2019 marks the fourth major website iteration that I have made for the Finnish bus company and licensed travel agency.
The goal for the new website is to make a dynamic website including an online store for selling tours offering flexible online payment methods to the company’s customers. The previous website iteration was in the right direction but due to some technical hurdles it was not yet a full-blown online store. Taking into consideration all the previous short comings, the new website takes a significant leap forward.
Furthermore, with their target customer group in mind, Friman Tours specifically asked me to simplify layout proposals making the website a lot clearer and the tours easier to find. In the end I find that this paid off and the website is highly informative and serves the customers, yet it’s not overly complex.
